Life moves fast. Less than two years ago I was sitting in a high school classroom, playing baseball and living with my parents. Fast forward two years and I'll be living my professional life paying rent, saving for retirement and doing every other adult thing I can imagine.

In order to live your life to the fullest you must know who you are. It took me a while to figure out who I really was. It took good experiences, bad experiences, heartbreak, trials and great times. All of my experiences has lead me to truly understanding who I am and my place not only where I'm currently at but where I am going to be. So who am I?

I'm Hayden Blake, a sophomore Public Relations major with a minor in Nonprofit Management. I came to college here at OU from Frisco, TX and it has been one of the greatest decisions I could have made. So that's me at the surface level but not who I really am. First and foremost I'm a Christ follower. All of my actions and the things I do here are based on my faith and devotion to my Lord and savior. I also love Chickfila, Fantasy Football, and just about anything sports related. If I'm not at Gaylord in my free time I'm probably hanging out with my buddies or working out.

A lot of the question "Who am I?" answered more questions to go along with it like:

"What do you believe?"

"What do you do?"

"What guides you?"

"What motivates you?

and "Where does design fit into your life?"

In the simplest terms I believe in Christianity, I believe that there is good in every single person I meet and I believe loving others and placing them before ourselves is one of the most important things we can do in our lives.

I do all sorts of things but where I really have the most fun is with my BYX fraternity brothers hanging out in fellowship with each other.

A lot of my personal development can be contributed to my faith but a lot of credit also goes to my amazing parents. I am blessed with a mother and a father that would do anything for me. They taught me to be kind, selfless and a gentleman and I am forever grateful.

And finally, design has a special place in my life. I enjoy being creative and making something out of nothing. Whether it's designing a social media graphic for campus organizations I'm involved with or helping my Dad create a flyer for Baseball tryouts design is something I enjoy. Design is a place I feel comfortable. A place where I can create and bring my personality to life.

I am excited to take on PR Pubs online and learn all things design to enhance my skill set and further my knowledge!

Below is a picture of a night out my fraternity brothers. Brothers Under Christ take on OU/TX!
