Unit 2.2 was daunting but so enjoyable. In this unit I was asked to revise a classmate's business card, comment on a blog post and begin my letterhead and envelope.
When asked to do all of these things I responded with enjoyment as I love getting to work in InDesign. Every time we have a design assignment I get excited as I have enjoyed all of them thus far.
My reaction to what I actually did was one of relief. I worked very hard and spent a lot of hours in the Gaylord computer lab to complete this project. After finishing, I was relieved and excited to get my work revised and critiqued.
My reaction was the way it was due to the long hours of work. Anytime you work hard on something for a long period of time a feeling of relief will come over you after completion. This feeling of relief is followed by satisfaction for putting your best effort into an assignment and seeing the outcome you wanted.
I used several ideas and pins for my inspiration regarding my letterhead and envelope.
For my envelope I tried to focus on the purpose and core values of BYX and bring them to life.

For my letterhead I stayed with a similar approach and used the same fonts and color to stay on brand.

Overall, I enjoyed this unit and recommend anyone who wants to create a professional letterhead to follow these 11 key steps!
