"Life is better if you are satisfied with what you do and what you have."

-Dr. T.P. Chia

In this unit we were asked to follow the steps to complete our first design project in PR Publications. This process was grueling and filled with long hours of work but it was well worth it. It started with basic tutorials and getting acquainted with the software. From there I worked and finished my first drafts of my business card, letterhead and envelope. My designs were critiqued by my instructor and peers reviewed my work.

My response to everything we had to do stayed pretty consistent throughout the project. I was always eager to learn and get to work in the programs. The process was tedious, but I stayed the course.

My reaction to the process and finishing the project was also very consistent. Each step that I completed would give me a feeling of relief as I was closer to the finish line. This relief was not due to the fact I wanted to get it over with, but the satisfaction of completing something that takes this much work.

The reaction I had was the way it was because of the work I put in. I wouldn't have had a strong feeling of relief and satisfaction if I didn't give my all in this design project.

Overall, I plan to pitch my design ideas to our President for the BYX Chapter I am member of. We can use the envelope, business card and letterhead for sponsorship and communicating with parents.
