My second design project of the semester is over! This project followed suit as I spent several hours grinding away in the Gaylord Convergence lab as I tried to perfect my Direct Mailer's.

In this unit, I was asked to design two separate direct mailers that appealed to it's own individual stakeholder. This included hours of design, identifying a stakeholder and making sure my design addressed my target.

My reaction to this design project was one of excitement and honestly a little fear. Photoshop was daunting for me as I had some experience with InDesign coming in. I knew it would be fun to learn the new software and play around but the unknown is always scary!

I reacted with relief when my designs were finished! Photoshop was challenging to work in and I was excited once I completed the finished product to my liking.

My reaction was this way due to the long hours in the lab. It is always relieving to finish a project after hard work and frustration!

Overall, this course has given me confidence in the design softwares as I walk through these projects. The grind of design is very real and this class has helped me understand this. I have also come to learn I prefere InDesign over Photoshop as I find it more user friendly.

This project was fun and challenging but overall I am happy with my finished product. The image below is the part I am most proud of!
